Hi Granny,

I don't see any oil mentioned - do you use Udo's Oil with the Total Nutrition drink? Water is definitely important, but I have found that I will have dry skin and cracked lips no matter how much water I drink if I'm not getting enough good oil into me.

Hope this helps,

Kelli

but the medications i am taking keep me pretty dry even though i drink at least 8 glasses of water daily, usually more, part of it being herbal decoctions and the lemonade.

oh man!! i missed that part.. but then i didn't make the DS as that is the one bodily function that turns my stomach totally around and i couldn't get past the name LOL 8<

i did not include this part of your earlier post:

"My favorite way to take the Total Nutrician is:

2 heaping tablespoons of Total Nutrition

1 Tbl spoon of UDO's

1 Tbl spoon of Flaxseed Oil

1 Teaspoon of Bee Pollen (the reason I haven't added

Bee Pollen to the TN formula is because pollen should

be refrigerated where TN doesn't need to be)

2 raw organic eggs

& sometimes 1 teaspoon of MSM Powder

Blended in Apple cider for a minute makes the best morning drink I ever tasted."

i just used the actual formula for the TN.guess i need to check out the DS again. can't remember what is contains.

i'll go look it up. :)

Granny, Dragon Snot is simply combining the Total Nutrition dose with UDO's and raw organic egg. MSM and bee pollen are optional but terrific additions. Mixed in a fruit smoothie it is pretty good, it just looks horrible LOL! I tell my hubby not to look at it when I make him drink some :P

Methylsulfonylmethane, or MSM, is a safe and natural assimilate derived from the Southern Louisiana Pine. MSM is organic sulfur--the kind your body can absorb and use. Sulfur is the fourth most plentiful mineral in the body. And, it is found in every cell of every animal and plant. Sulfur is found in food; it is most abundant in eggs and red peppers, but can also be found in significant quantities in grains, legumes, animal proteins, onions, garlic, asparagus, cabbage, brussels sprouts, and broccoli. However, most of the volatile MSM is lost in washing, cooking, or steaming. Modern food processing, packaging and preparation has robbed our food of the sulfur we need.

Yes it comes in powder and pills, and can be sprinkled in shakes and on food. You can get it online or in your local store, it is readily available now. Most MSM will be formulated with at least a little Vitamin C for better absorption.

Wow, that was a mouthfull. I cannot pronounce that. Thank you for explaining it. Can you add this to shakes and foods? Can I get this at the health foods or special order?
