Guest guest
Well kids I finished it, chilled it, and then pulled out a slice of sprouted wheat bread, cut it into fours and spread it on...passed it out and we were surprised.. It was pretty good. I would think I would need to think more on this on what to add to make it taste a bit more like butter... The texture was kind of like whipped butter but not quite as "airy", it spread very nice and creamy. I could taste a hint of the red wine vinegar I used in the recipe to help separate the liquid off. But it was quite good. I am not dissapointed, just makes me think more for next time what I could do different to make it better. I would try to leave out the vinegar....hmmm have to think on this one. I bet you could make a nice compound butter out of this by adding your favorite herbs or garlic for putting on veggies and such.. You could sweeten with a tad bit of honey or something for toast.... I haven't tried to melt it or cook with it yet so these are all the results I have to share with you for now. Hope this helps someone else.
