Diet is OK but could definately be better. I don't always get all the fruits and veggies in I should and I probably eat too much dairy and I have a BIG thing for sweets (probably eat something sweet at least 4-5 times a week, this does not include fruit). I am 3 months pregnant and my pre-pregnancy weight was about 15 pounds too high. My loss in libido has steadily gotten worse since 1998 - I just can't be bothered!! I hate this about myself and really want to change but I just don't know how to make myself want to want sex. Thanks to all who are answering my e-mails, - Melissa Since your pregnant now go ahead and work on cleaning up your diet and getting that squared away, especially the sugars... Do you own a juicer? If so try getting atleast an 8 ounce glass a day of fresh organic veggies mainly, drink more if you can! For Sure get on the Total Nutrition as soon as possible, this will be wonderful for you and the baby! Are you emotionally okay since having 2 kids and one on the way, I know this can be stressful! Can someone give you 1 night a week to just be you and relax or have fun?? Is your husband supportive, romantic, loving, etc?? That makes a HUGE difference!!! Be open with him and don't make it "The big ugly secret" Let him know you want that desire but right now your just not feeling so strongly, be sure to assure him that he is still sexy or whatever....lol Also I think after 2 kids and 1 on the way with the bad diet that your hormones are off-kilter, give yourself a chance and you can get balanced again. Try to think of fun new ways to be intimate without sex like a candlelight warm oil massage, etc... this will take the pressure off sex and put your mind into a close romantic and intimate mind-set so you can reprogram your thinking...like okay clothes off, rub here...kiss there...do the deed and its over.. Once you change your thinking and begin to feel close without the sex you will be more apt to want him in that special way... Also don't be afraid to try new things in the bedroom!@ Two people should be comfortable with being close and even laughing together when it doesn't work out or screaming with joy when it does!!! Hope this helps! God Bless, Jamie in AZ

Guest guest
Melissa, Glad you gave that extra info. I was wondering something like that might be a part of the problem. Not enough time in the day to do everything and then somehow have time for yourself, much less the hubby. I would suggest that you take those baby steps sooner rather than later, speaking from personal experience and those of several of my friends. Even if you are pregnant, you can take the baby steps to rekindle your romance with hubby as others suggested. One of the ways i have seen a few couples do this is by " Date-night " . Now i know a lot of people cringe at this and it is kind of a drag to have to pre-plan when you might be intimate or romantic, but in the long run, having that time set aside for your relationship with hubby, is better than just pooping out and having no-time at all. When hubby and i first moved into our house last year, i was working from home (extra hours) and my daughter and 3 boys were with us. Needless to say i was running the house, the business and not really spending much quality time with him. I found that even if the idea of being alone with him sounded great, by the end of the night i just wanted to veg-out or pass-out. We talked about it and decided that we would have a date each Friday (payday) by going out to dinner or at the very least for coffee and tea or to the bookstore, for some quality time together alone. Even if you cant do it each week, once or twice a month is at least something to make sure that hubby knows that you love and desire his company. Trade off sitting time with someone to get 2 to 4 hours when you could do this " date " . And have fun with it. Guest guest
Melissa, I think most women go through this at one point in their lives for one reason or another. I certainly did. Do reconnect with your hubby. Have you told him how you feel? Tell him you feel so bad about being uninterested hon, he will appreciate your honesty. He will probably come up with some pretty good ideas to help you from his perspective as well. You need to find something that is just for you too. I am stuck in the house 24/7 so I stay sane by connecting with my friends on the net and going out shopping with my friend occasionally. The key is NO KIDS go with you and NO HUBBY either LOL! Let us know how you are doing.
