Guest guest
I have tried to eat raw before and made it thru 4 weeks and was ready to kill someone (hubby) and everyone in general. During the cleanse i got equally (if not worse)grumpy during the kidney/Cleanse. I am trying to incorporate as much raw as i can to each day, but i know for me, I cannot not eat raw at every meal. I have also tired to make at least a couple of days a week vegan. It would be hard to do anymore than that as hubby will never give up meat. He lost way too much weight during the cleanse and it is very apparent to us, that the requirements of his body merit animal protein At the very least i am using sprouted grains, nuts, seeds, legumes, etc. as much as possible if not always from here on out. I have already noticed that this has made a huge difference in my on going diet and weight management. It has been 12 days since i ended the cleanse, and i still feel great, AND... i have lost an additional 3 pounds. I applaud anyone whole can go totally raw, 100%. I frequently walk by a pizza parlor just down the street from work, and I swear I can taste it by the smell sometimes! Better fats would be from plant sourcessuch as in the states you have something I think called UDO's oil, alsoorganic olive oil and flaxseed oil is good, also nuts and avocadoesare excellent sources of good fat.I would think a HUGE reduction in the intake of calories during thecleanse would cause weight loss and this would possibly be expected, howeveronce the cleanse is finished one could go back to eating the required numberof calories per day for the energy requirements of that person. What makes you think he needs animal protein? Why would that be differentfrom protein from say nuts?It is my personal belief no one needs animal protein, and with it comesanimal fat which I don't believe is beneficial in any way.another 2 centsregardsPersian
