Hi Doses of Vitamin C (1000mg every hour until bowel tolerance) 6. Zinc 7. Drink plenty of cranberry juice (unsweetened) 8. Eliminate dehydrating drinks such as caffeine (coffe, cola etc) and spicy foods that can irritate more than help. 9. Exclude refined carbohydrates and dairy products from the diet and try to eat as many clean foods as possible as this puts less stress on the urinary system.
