Alright, I'm new here too and have learned so much. Here's another new thing I'm gonna learn today...DAIRY! I haven't read all the post on dairy, but I saw someone say that dairy causes mucous...? I give my son, now 10 months yogart every morning - no kidding...I do. He loves it so much. That's his favorite. What should I substitute this instead? He loves it so much that I would hate to take it away from him, so how can I change this?

I've read some yogurt talk here....is that not a dairy product? Since I'm new.....are we not discouraging dair products?

Dairy is my big weekness- try to at least switch to plain organic yougurt, if you can get a source of raw organic milk you can make your own, which would be even better.

Beckey,

You've completely lost me on this one. I didn't understand your message.

You buy a yougurt and use it as a start like a starter for bread. I'll see if I can find some instructions.

Sorry didn't mean to confuse. Elizabeth asked how to make yougart, which is the question I answered. I looked through the files but wasn't able to find the instructions. You should be able to do a search on the internet and find them though Elizabeth.

Yes it is still dairy, but it is the best kind. Suzi suggested Keifer which is fermented milk.
