Wow Anna...

First thoughts are total body cleanse as the body so to speak supplies the brain with blood, etc... Cayenne?? Burdock...blood purifier... next thought is Brain formula in the files... and an organic raw fruit/veggie diet.

GHB... this one???

G amma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB) is a depressant that acts on the central nervous system and has recently become a popular drug of abuse. GHB is distributed illegally as a purported strength enhancer, euphoriant and aphrodisiac.1 Bodybuilders claim GHB helps metabolize fat and build muscle, and persons who attend nightclubs and parties (such as all-night "raves") use it as a euphoriant. There are new reports of GHB even being used as a "date rape" drug.2

I'd try the brain formula and cayenne for starters... then a cleanse if you can convince her...even a 3 day juice would probably help.

I have a friend who says that the brain is not part of thebody so cleanses won't help. She says she has a problemwith her brain stem. She never feels completely awake. Shehad a sleep test done and the results show that she does notgo into deep sleep IE slow wave sleep, stage 4, not to beconfused with REM. The doctor said this was not significant. She does sleep, 7 to 9 hrs. but she wakes up tired and againnever feels completely awake. How awful that must be :-( She is currently not on any drugs, eats the typical diet butno sodas, coffee, no foods excessively. She is housebound, lives alone, has no energy and is left with the dx ofchronic fatigue. She's tried various things through theyears, drug and alternatives but nothing works permanently.I believe she's around 60 years old. Maybe 50 lbs.overweight based on the 100 lb plus 5

lbs/inch over 5 ft.It has been just recently that she's been able to verbalizewhat she is truly feeling. Her most recent investigation has led her to gBH. This isknown as the date rate drug but she said that it puts aperson into the deep sleep that she doesn't get. Doctorswon't prescribe it. Is there an herbal equal? Now, I'm thinking if she's not willing to admit the brain ispart of the body, any further discussion is futile.

Yes, wow, is right and so

sad. She is an extremely intelligent woman, such a waste as she could be

doing so much. And thanks, I’ll give it a shot. I have

cayenne ready to tincture that I can give her. And yes, it’s

GHB, but I don’t see where it puts one to sleep. Looks extremely

toxic!!

I thought the same thing... doesn't seem related to me either... I would start with the cayenne... you might do a message search as sleep disorders (apnea, chronic fatique etc have been discussed before).
