endometriosis

Hi, everyone! i just signed up with this group, and i was wondering

if anyone knows of herbs that will treat endometriosis and stop the

growth. i am a 33 year old single woman with no children and i was

just diagnosed with severe endometriosis last week after my

laperoscopy. my obgyn said i needed a complete hysterectomy, which is

not an option for me. then he told me i could take Lupron shots,

which throw your body into menopause. it is so expensive that my

insurance has to approve it first, for the $600 a shot, once a month,

for 6 months treatment. i told my obgyn that this was not an option

for me either, its too dangerous, and its doesnt even stop the growth

of endo. i know i am not supposed to eat meat, wheat, dairy, or

sugar, as it feeds the endometriosis, and that is so hard to do for

me. although i have been 100% raw before, its hard to do without

healthy people supporting you. i get tired of them saying, here have

some meat... or have some ice cream. all that is doing is feeding

this endo, and making my pain worse. please help me. i am researching

all that i can, raw food, fasting, herbs, and any other holistic

treatments that do not involve yanking my uterus out or filling my

body full of poisons. thanks,
