What was her concern and what did she want you to support through diet? Young coconuts from thailand are also FABULOUS! I don't know where you are - if you are near any good asian markets that have produce. You open them and drink the water or blend it with the pulp- fantastic for kids. Regarding diet- if you ever want to chat that would be great. Other wise I think I would type volumes. The basics are whole foods- truly whole. No processed foods, no additives, preservatives, colors or chemicals. Food that has not been heated- or if you eat heated food eat not only heated foods. Organic foods. Mostly fruits and vegetables. Sprouted raw grains nuts and seeds in moderation. Little to no animal products- if you do use kosher or organic meats. Kosher and organic is best- hard to find. deep sea clean fish in moderation. Super foods like dod's Total Nutrition. Omegas like in Udo's oil... Food is medicine and it is energy. You are what you eat. Some people do well with an aruvedic or macrobiotic approach. I do like to incorporate elements of both into my diet. Diets- what we eat is just another way we express our values and make choices that impact our bodies and the world. Eating ecologically is important if we care about the earth. Take care! Elizabeth
