Guest guest
I'm going out in left field here but I'm gonna tell you from my child side how I could've been more enticed to try fruits and it may seem as tho I am missing the nutritional point. Being a trained pastry chef who use to have sugary stuff replacing my blood daily. If kids are totally apposed to eating any fruit what about getting them to like fruits by making dips or sauces for the fruits. Like a carmel dip, a sweetened sour cream sauce/dip, chocolate dip, chocolate dipped fruit and so on. Use a variety of fruits so the kids learn how fruits taste and feel on there pallate and that will get them to perhaps try fruits and one day they will admit to you that they do like it rather than not. Perhaps these kids (i don't know - i don't have any) actually just don't want to admit they like the fruit or the 'good stuff' because they know there is soo called 'better stuff/sugar' out there. Pam Hi An-Marie, How about putting out a plate of cut up fruits a little before dinner? You can make it finger food, you can make a variety, and it could be fun! Might satisfy any cravings for sweets and you can avoid dessert later! _______________ Take off on a romantic weekend or a family adventure to these great U.S. locations. http://special.msn.com/local/hotdestinations.armx
