Guest guest
You will need a dehydrator with good temp control and levels around 105 The Excaliber is the best one- by far. The 9 shelf is most practical. They are expensive. Elizabeth

Guest guest
I've had an american Harvest dehydrator for years. The plastic is fine, it doesn't melt. I have the snackmaster but I want the gardenmaster in time, That one can dry 30 trays at once. With mine I can dry 15 trays at a time. The temp range is right, it has a fan on the bottom that blows the air up through the trays. Very easy to clean. Mari Elizabeth....I found a site that says the temp range was 90 to 150 so if that is true it would be fine . But I don't like it being plastic. It's about the only affordable kind out there I am afraid....Mary O

Guest guest
I grow my own herbs and dry them. I have dried tomatoes, oranges, jerky, broccoli, cabbage, peaches, green beans, peas, pumpkin, sprouts, apples, bananas, corn, fruit roll ups. that's all I can think of right now. I use this as a way of keeping some of the produce from my garden, which of course is all organic. Mari Thanks Mari. What all do dehydrate with it? Guest guest
I use a dehydrator for raw sprouted breads, crackers, chips, pie crusts, & cookies primarily. Mostly flax and (sprouted) nut based with veggies and fruits. Some sprouted grains. I would not be happy raw without some raw crunchy crackers.
