Guest guest
OK, first before we get to whether or not raw honey is raw honey.. Let's start with the propolis.. There is none in the honey.. As this is the sap from trees etc. bees use to seal up the hive.. Next, beeswax is from the comb… you may get some in the honey while extracting it… however a filter is then used to catch the beeswax. So, you see, you still have raw honey..with no beeswax or propolis... NOW, it is when it is pasturized that it changes. It loses some flavor also.. It is heated up for a few minutes to 145 degrees using some sort of high pressure method..- this keeps the honey from crystalizing giving it long shelf live… Crystalized honey is okay to use.. Just warm it up and the crystals disappear. Mail SpamGuard - Read only the mail you want.
