Guest guest
>>I wonder what the pHARMacist would say if you went back in and asked to return the drugs that didn't work??? Hi I needed to come out of lurkdom for this one. LOL In addition to drugs that don't work, I think people should be able to get refunds for drugs that make them sicker than whatever they went in for. :-) My Story... A well known Pharmacy gave me a prescription for the EXACT drug listed on the top of my " warning list. " It is printed right next to my name. This drug has caused anaphlaxis and is a definite no-no. I was waiting in the car when Dh brought the bag out, I read the drug name and went right back in (less than 3 minutes elapsed from the time on the receipt). They refused to give me a refund! I asked for the Head of Pharmacy who would not listen to reason either. The bag was not even opened from where they stapled it at least four times. I looked at her in the calmest manner possible and said " Ok, I guess I will sit here in the waiting area and take the " prescribed " dosage. YOU won't have to explain to the paramedics why I'm going into shock because the evidence will be clutched in my fingers. " (I would never actually take that risk). I got the refund and an apology. I even got some coupons for my next visit, but we never went back. mjd
