The cleanse takes willingness and commitment...and a few hundred bucks. You can eat a huge variety of foods on it- more than any other cleanse I have done. I think this person should wait until they are ready to do it as it was created. I'd have them do a phone consult with Doc and see what he says regarding the specifics though ;-) The best way to go into something like this is with total surrender and a positive attitude. It's not hard then. Love, Elizabeth

Guest guest
Weeeeeeeell, let me tell ya. I love my evening snack of toast with jelly so the first night I said to myself “I’m not that sick” and had the toast/jelly instead of a piece of fruit. Then about an hour later did the hot bath and ginger tea. Ooooooh, maaaaaaaan, was I sick. Extremely nauseous during the bath while drinking the tea. Then when I got out I got so dizzy I thought I was going to vomit!! And, I’m not sick!! I did the cleanse basically to get rid of some mild bloating after eating, low energy, and the beginnings of a cataract. Hahahaa, so maybe I am that sick. Anyhoo, I surely learned my lesson and stuck to the program totally and felt fine for the remainder of it!!! INCLUDING the second shower during the liver/gallbladder segment. So, I really think your friend should either do it right or forget it. I’ve dealt with patients who wanted quick answers and it just doesn’t work that way. Staying and getting healthy the natural way takes work and if she’s not willing to do it, then so be it!! I found that these people will drain you dry complaining the whole time because the results won’t be good and they’ll blame the cleanse (and you) and not their lazy participation. Now I do understand the fear that might be connected to doing it and if that’s the case then she should start with something simpler like the 3 day juice cleanse, done the way it’s presented. An aside: reading through the archived notes, Doc insisted that one of his online patients have a juicer by the end of the first week or he would not continue to work with her. She found one at a yard sale that very week end. I agree with what some folks might consider hard line but nothing else works and he knows that and won’t waste his time and that of his patients. I’ve learned this the hard way too and won’t accept patients unless they want to do the work to get well. Well!! That’s my buck and a half J Anna *Your Health Is In Your Hands* <<<<Okay every one I have a stubborn friend who wants to do the total body cleanse but says she will eat some things during the cleanse and just can't stick to the eating part of the requirements fully. Has anyone done the cleanse but not stuck to the dietary guidelines and if so what were the main challenges and pros/cons.
