I did the 3 day cleanse this past weekend as it was a 3 day one and myoldest was with his grandparents. However, about half way through I got sodizzy I could barely stand and I had to slowly start eating again. I washaving serious hot flashes, but as my youngest was with me it scared me thatI was sooo dizzy (he is extremely active and I was laid out on the couchunable to get up). I plan on trying it again (after eating better forawhile to see if that helps), but I want to know is this becuase my diet wasjust that awful or becuase of the female problems I'm having. (Almostconstant bleeding with clots. I'm led to believe it may be fibroids, butnot been able to get that verified yet.) I have ordered the herbs for thefemale formula. I felt high (for lack of a better word) through it and ittook another day with the getting back on foods before I

felt normal again. Also the bleeding completely stopped while on the cleanse, yet once Istarted eating again it came back (though isn't as heavy). Any ideas wouldbe greatly appreciated. BTW did anyone else have trouble with the olive oilit made my stomach churn and I broke out in a sweat trying to keep it down.Peace,Tee

Yes. It's not a great idea to go into a cleanse without first cleansing

your diet. Infact it can do more harm than good. Also essential to

transition off to whole organic vegan foods. A good clean diet will be

enormously cleansing in and of itself. I did the month long cleanse

with out a moment of discomfort. The reason is diet. Tryong even a day

long fast or cleanse is a great way to begin to get used to cleansing.

Even half a day.

Be sure to increase water.

Elizabeth

Tee, are you taking the Total Nutrition formula? When you have a chronic

problem with your health it is absolutely essential. Olive oil straight

makes a lot of people queasy.

That would be Canola.

Olive is great. Quality varies. Cold pressed, organic, virgin is best

and it must be fresh.

CANOLA IS BAD not olive oil...

But the body reacts when it's been fed "junk" and finally gets something good also.

Interesting!! I had some stomach upset with Olive Leaf as a matter of fact, the capsule. But, I lowered my own dosage and no stomach pains. I guess you just have to play with it a bit to find out exactly what your system can stand. I also think it could be reacting to an already toxic system too. Didn't I read something about some olive oil not being good for you? Or was that Canola?

Olive oil has a short shelf life, so don't buy more than you will go

through in say 3-4 months at a time. Always smell the oil (any oil)

before using to be sure it does not smell " off " or rancid. If you

suspect an oil has gone bad- dump it.

I am inclined to agree here. It usually doesn't last long either. Question: Does one "smell" while doing a cleanse, at least during a major purge period? I ask because if all of the toxins are being eliminated through the skin, (bowels are a given) and mucous membranes, is it fact that one may actually have a body odor that they are not accustomed to? I would like to know so I can time this project just right. Thanks!! Love...

It takes a long time to become toxic. Your body doesn't even know how

to eliminate properly anymore...if it ever did. The most important

thing is to see cleansing as part of your normal routine not something

separate- done to compensate for the daily damage, lol. So, the best

thing to do to have a *comfortable* cleanse and even one that feels

GREAT, is to cleanse you body now and everyday though changing the

diet, eliminating the junk (most of the standard american SAD diet),

drinking clean water, using cleansing herbs, taking cleansing baths,

skin brushing daily, being active daily (kill the TV- sorry, a

flashback to the 60's I could not resist)....etc.

Your body WILL react when you make these changes...so to avoid massive

headaches, bone crushing aches and pains, nausea, bad breath, sticky

pits, coated tongue, etc....cleanse gradually every day...then hop in

and go all the way with the big body cleanse and don't be scared at all

Also, it's OK to have stinky pits! It's better than colon cancer or

early death ;-) Y'know?

I have not used a commercial deodorant (and only use an aromatherapy

one rarely) for about 20 years and RARELY have any odor at all even

after a work out (rigorous) I smell great! I have been eating a very

clean diet for 42 years though and cleansing regularly for 10. With

each cleanse you will have less detox...so ease in but really go for

it...it will pay off big time! Throw away your toxic products (medicine

chest and cleaners) and change you diet, it'll create miracles in your

life ;-)

Elizabeth

Yes, absolutely but it depends on how toxic you are. Dr. Reams

tells quite a story about a patient in his clinic. The Doc walked into

the room one morning and it reeked of cigarette smoke. He got out the man’s

suitcase and said “you’re out of here. I will not have you

here if you’re not going to stick with the program”. The man

and his wife swore he hadn’t had a cigarette in over TEN YEARS. The

toxins were literally coming out of his skin!!!

Soooo, just hang a sign around your neck saying: “I’m

getting healthy and stinking is part of it!”

It’s a good way to find out how toxic you are!!
