Guest guest
Hey all!! HOw old is the daughter..the one with mono?? List members...she could do a detox couldn't she?? I think, based on the fact that she gets sinus infections and such...that she could benefit. I have gotten strep a couple of times..and when I did one of the cleanses, ALOT of mucous removed itself from my system! Gotta love that Cayenne! Now that I think about it...I haven't been sick with a cold or flu..a real one (one came and went in like 2 days) in 2003. Ha...leave it to me to come to THAT realization in 2004 eh?? Guest guest
Hi Kim, Welcome to the group! Once you get going with the herbal stuff you're going to wonder what you ever went to the doctors for in the first place. When my daughter weaned from nursing at 7 months old, she mysteriously started getting ear infections. She had not had an ill moment in her life previous to that. The pediatrician started dosing her with antibiotics and said that this was normal. After the 3rd round of antibiotics in less than 3 months, with no answers from the pediatrician, who also denied vehemently that starting formula was the cause, I sought out natural methods. Once I switched her formula, she's been healthy as a horse!! Go through the group files, and really start the Total Tonic for your whole family. It'll spice ya up and increase your level of health as well! LOL!! Kelli
Guest guest
As I keep reading posts, it gets more interesting... What kind of foods, drinks does your daughter do? I think we're going to find a deeper problem here.... More than likely a change in eating habits... also get her on mostly organic juices right now. Suzikimmykjl2003 <bertha926 wrote: Hi Jeni Laura! Thanks for the welcome! Oh boy, I know about the strep throat thing...my daughter gets strep every year, sometimes twice. The last couple of years she has gotten "resistant strep" :-(She also gets tons of sinus infections...I guess mono was just next on the list. What really gets me is how the doctors are so nonchalant(sp?) about it. We just switched from a periatrician to the family doctor my husband and I see and they are much less agressive than the ped. I am also just tired of watching my daughter (and my son) get sick with the same things over and over again. This is not to say that I am giving up doctors altogether, they have their place, especially in diagnotics, but I am going to start investigating herbal treatments instead of/in addition to conventional medicine. Docs love to treat the symptoms but they don't like to find the source, do they? I guess they don't have time - you should see all the people lining the waiting room at my doctor's office! xxxkimxxxherbal remedies , "supervixen08" wrote:> Hi Kim!
