Guest guest
Well, gang... here's the update info.. Tried apples peels included - just cut them in half and sent them down the chute... juice was fantastic... the pulp was moist... (am going to try different apples and see if there is a difference or whether it was the peel) The pulp was not as dry as the orange. Now, carrots... does wonderful.. put them in whole... great.. pretty dry pulp.. then added carrots and spinach... did great... celery stalks... wonderful... all pulp pretty dry. And it doesn't take much celery to taste it.. the celery came out on top in taste mixed with the carrots and spinach.. interesting... but yummy... AND cleanup is still easy, quick. (Do I sound like a commercial) Anyway, I'm extremely happy with it... for those of you looking who can;t afford a Champion or Omega or .... Guest guest
For what it's worth, when i juiced apples and tomoatoes (not together of course!), I noticed that the pulp comes out wetter than carrots or other hard veggies. I've been running the pulp back thru to get more of the juice out (which works). I used 2 types of apples, Jona gold and Fuji, the pulp was about the same for both, still wet. I too used the peel and wondered if peeling it would make a difference, but then wouldnt you lose some apple with the peel when peeling it?
