Guest guest
Cal, I do a lot of work with animals. What I find works very well for hair balls is to give your cat some slippery elm powder in yogurt daily. I find most cats like it and what slippery elm will do is to pull things out of the digestive tract that do not belong there and pull them out through the stool For a 10 lb cat I would give between 1/4 and 1/2 teaspoon daily of slippery elm in a tablespoon of yogurt (preferably whole milk, organic yogurt). Bonnie Rogers I wonder if anybody knows how to stop a cat swallowing its own fur and/or to get this out of the cat's stomach ?? Sadly a friend's young cat died of this and I just wonder how it could have been prevented and prevented from happening again.
