Guest guest
My intestinal cleanse #3 is the ticket here with kids. Does what the #1 does but without the horrendously hot cayenne ;o) Doc Ian "Doc" Shillington N.D.505-772-5889Dr.IanShillington - hope herbal remedies Wednesday, February 04, 2004 8:03 AM Herbal Remedies - baby constipation--doc? Hello--My son is almost 9 months old and he has always had troubles with constipation. I do supplement with formula--(long story there was no other choice). But a friend also pumps some extra milk for me to have. When i give him only this previously frozen breast milk, he still is constipated. He's on Enfamil lipil-- it's what the state gives us, tho i'm hoping to switch to low iron. I tried raw cow and raw goat-- his constipation was much worse. He won't drink water, but i can water down his formula. I don't like to give him sweets, but i've given him some pureed raw apple. What other information might be pertinent for you to know to give some good advice? My mother says i was like this as a baby too. (And i still have troubles in that dept so i take Dr Schulzes intestinal formula number 1 every day or i won't be able to go.)

But even if i only give him veggies and eliminate the yoghurt etc for a couple days, he still has this problem. I gave him a little senna tea yesterday. Can't tell if it helped. I hope to tincture some at some point. I had to give him a glycerin suppository yesterday. He cried when he pooped and it was hard. Guest guest
Lauren, when Jamie (my son) was still taking the barley milk, and I first got in touch with Doc, I asked him about sprouting the barley, and he said yes, to do it. It's not part of the original formula, but then this datum of sprouting wasn't known then yet :-) love Lisa - Lauren Bastow herbal remedies Wednesday, February 04, 2004 9:20 PM RE: Herbal Remedies - baby constipation--doc?
