No, that is a newer design, as far as the innards who knows,

waring isn't known for great quality stuff, being from the dining

industy, any other waring product, o.k., but the juicers, just

not impressed. I still think you would be money ahead if you have

to make a choice between the two to go w/ Jack's. If you buy the

waring make sure you can return it if it's not as you wish and get

Jack's. But I will re-emphasize I am impressed w/ my mom's

(jacks), the pulp is very dry, the hole to put food into is very

large and it is made well, w/ rubber feet and quiet motor, the

screen inside is very large as well, the bin that catches the pulp

is large to and you can take a plastic grocery store vegi bag and

put that in the bin to capture the pulp and wad it into a ball in

the bag and freeze if you so choose and that just leaves one less

thing to wash.

Let me know what you decide. It will be difficult for you to assess

if you've never had a juicer, as far as comparing the pulp dryness.

I have seen both and waring is a waste.

And not to knock it, my juicer that I've warn out is a cheapo and

I've started to buy some organic vegis lately and it just kills me

every time to see that money going into a vegi ball. Sure I use the

pulp up but I would much rather have that precious juice in my

tummy. In fact I weighed a batch yesterday. The pulp weighed 28oz

and the juice weighed 15oz.
