Guest guest
Hi Suzi, I actually have the Waring Pro. (Bought it when DH and I started the cleanse, but didn't really research them. Liked the stainless steel and it was the best one at the store where we shopped.) I do like it. It is very sturdy and fairly easy to clean. I don't like cleaning it, but I can't think of any ways it could be better. All the parts to clean can go in the dishwasher too. The pulp is not dry, though. If I do just a small number of apples (3-4) then the pulp will be dry, but when I'm doing a LOT of juicing then the pulp comes out wet. I still love my juicer though! Guest guest
Kelli, Just thought of this... I understand that many juicers (with wet pulp) leave alot of the nutrients (instead of putting them into the juice)... That the dryer the pulp the more nutrients that go into the juice.. (which is what we want)... SuziKelli Bever <kelli wrote: The pulp is not dry, though. Guest guest
Thanks Lee.. poke away! yes there are better, top of the line ones.. but can't afford those at this point.. and since I got this gift certificate.. I have a choice of 2 at that store... Never thought about putting the pulp back thru... good point. I don't know if KA makes a juicer. their are great. i have a Juice Man from about 15-20 years ago and it is not too bad.. all cutting parts are stainless but rest is plastic and i have to, for the most part, put some things through twice to get the pulp really dry. am sure many better ones are on the market by now SiteBuilder - Free web site building tool. Guest guest
We bought a Juiceman just before the cleanse, it was like $39 at Target and very much in our budget. Prior to that, we just stuck the whole peeled fruits or veggies in the blender and had puree rather than juice. Anyway, the Juiceman is not that bad for the price. It have found some stuff comes thru every now and then that was a little to " whole " for my liking and I too, ran it back thru. I've been using part of the pulp for my dehydrated cookies and add some to the dog's food too so that it doesnt go to waste.
