LOL.. Did you have Echinacea Plus..... it has cayenne added to the echinacea... I would imagine that is the difference... unless it is the medium that was used to make the tincture...

Awhile back i ordered some echineace angustifolia root from herbalcom and made a tincture with it. The tincture from it doesn't have the same taste as the tincture of the old stuff i got from Dr Schulze a few months ago. It doesn't have that 'tingly' feel on the tongue Dr Schulze said echinacea is supposed to have.

Are you sure you were using "Angustafolia"??? The "Purpurea" does not have the "tingle, make your mouth as numb" effect as pronounced as the A.

I took that into account. The thing i was wonderin about is the lack of the numbness that Schulze described as being a good echinacea tincture.

Somewhere in the message archives is the answer... Doc wrote it... but I've never had that numbness feeling... (think I'm wierd, exception to the rule, pounding to the beat of a different drummer..).. HMMMM.jesusislord57 <jesusislord57 wrote:

Oh i know about that.... uhhh... 'tinge' from the cayenne! A better word would be FIRE!....lol...Wonder what Schulze has in his that causes that slight numbness. I have a bad tooth and have been using directly on the tooth for the pain. It really helps.
