Kathe,

No you can't mix them...lol... if it was supposed to be mixed Doc would have... Seriously though... I know TT is not to be made with alcohol - something with the fact that it is "food"... somewhere in the message archives is the answer... .

As for your answer to the tincture... You may be making the lobelia separate from the others and then adding them together after they are made.. but I'm waiting for an answer to my question about why and what.....

Would it hurt to use alchol with the ACV in the total tonic? I was thinking in terms of really long term storage. Then I see your talking about tincturing lobelia with ACV. I wanted to do a tincture of lobelia, mullein, eucalyptus, and marshmellow leaf togeather. Should I use just ACV?Thanks,Kathe

You can use a stainless steel strainer or cheesecloth to squeeze out the liquid and strain the herbs out.

Hey,

I just read about how to make a tincture. I don't have any of the presses mentioned. Does anyone have any other ideas on how to press my misture? When it says press, what exactly does that mean anyway?
