Rhye Neck Syndrome

I have a neighbor that has been taking her children (8 year old and

1 year old) to a chiroprator to get adjusted on a weekly basis since

before the one year old was born. Is that healthy or could that

cause some kind of damage to a child that still has growing bones??

Now her 8 year old daughter has been having some neck pains and the

chiropractor is telling her that is is called Rhye Neck Syndrome and

it is very common. My first instinct is to think that it was caused

by the chiropractor, but I am not sure. Has any one heard of that

syndrome or does anyone have a different opinion on it?
