Guest guest
Someone was asking for a recipe awhile back... I just got this from Diamond Organics in their newsletter... Suzi Hummus 1 can Garbanzo Beans 1 can-full of spring water 2/3 cup Garbanzo water 2T Tahini 2 cloves Garlic (minced or pressed) 1t Salt 2T Olive Oil 3T Lemon Juice 1T Cilantro (chopped) » Take can of garbanzos with the water included and put into a sauce pan or pressure cooker. Add one more can of spring water and cook the beans for 15–20 minutes to make sure that they are very soft. » Place cooked beans with 2/3 cup of reserved cooking water and all other ingredients in a blender or food processor and puree until creamy. Put in a small decorative bowl. Refrigerate if making ahead. Serve with pita and sliced veggies. SiteBuilder - Free web site building tool. Try it!
