Guest guest
Thanks Windflower, sounds delicious. I was hoping I could eat them plain, but apparently my stomach doesn't agree. Funny thing is I can take the TT straight, and didn't mind the taste of the garlic. Oh well, for now I will keep eating them in other foods, and you gave me some new ideas. Thanks again, Roni herbal remedies , windflower song <windflowersong> wrote: > Try blenderiziing a few cloves in tomato juice or a homade V8 type of juice. Delicious! Guest guest
Hi Roni, many people cannot tolerate raw garlic on an empty stomach. Take your garlic with your meals and you shouldn't have any problems. I had been taking garlic capsules for some time now, but after reading many of the posts I decided to eat the raw cloves. I love garlic and use it on foods all the time, but when I ate the raw clove I vomited (sorry)literally within a minute of eating it. Any suggestions on keeping it down? Should I start with a smaller amount? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks, any help would be appreciated as I know the actual garlic is so much better than the capsules.Love,Roni Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Guest guest
Hi Roni, You can also just try swallowing a clove (or portion of a clove, if it's too big) like a vitamin tablet. Coat it in olive oil if necessary, then chase it with water or your juice of choice. :)Kelli ronisrarities [ronisrarities] Monday, January 26, 2004 9:54 AMherbal remedies Subject: Re: Herbal Remedies - raw garlic clovesI was hoping I could eat them plain, but apparently my stomach doesn't agree. Guest guest
But it is better if you slice in half longways, and then swallow to get the allumin (sp) released better and quicker.
