Guest guest
Well, heat usually destroys all the good stuff, so I would say yes.... Lemon egg is supposed to be taken straight... Just put it in the fridge and drink it straight. It will do the most good this way. SuziCarrie Watson <carriewatson32 wrote: Question again, guys! I have made the lemon egg. I was wondering if it is o.k. to use in a hot beverage? Can I take it that way? I love my lemon in my herbal teas. Guest guest
Hmmm, but calcium is a mineral, not a fruit or veggie with enzymes. Does that really apply? Oh, I guess heating would turn it from an organic mineral to an inorganic mineral, is that right? Kellli trying to think... Guest guest
No correction Suz, and Kelli did have the "heat" factor correct as well. ;o) You can actually get a chemical reaction to many formulae simply by adding heat. You never want to use egg shells from boiled eggs for example. Not that you won't get some good out of it, but it's just not as effective. Guest guest
I use a tablespoon and gently lift them out - as long as you don't poke them they should come out... The lemon juice dissolves the egg shell.. you have the thick membrane around the egg itself.. Heck, I've even poured most the juice out with the eggs still in the jar... just do it gently. Is it ok to just take the lemon egg or should we be taking some form of magnesium as well? Lynda
