Guest guest
I believe it started Saturday - He has a temp for a bit and then he'll be fine for a few hours.. He is normally healthy... has had some congestion (you hear it in his breathing sometimes) in the past month... her dr was not concerned about it.. He's not uncomfortable except when he has the fever he wants to be held... crys some... (or as my DIL says ... he gets crabby.....) Usually he is a very happy baby... and if he isn't running a fever or it breaks... he wants to be playing.. Her dr said this am it was a virus... and for now (since he is eating,e tc.) just give him baby advil or tylenol....(I told her not the tylenol)... She is not totally over to herbs... Guest guest
Well, golly, if it were me, I probably wouldn't do anything about it right now. The Echinacea in water sounds good if she has to do something. Make sure he's well hydrated. Obviously it's best if his body is left alone to handle it, in my opinion. Anyway, I'm sure others will have more advice. I personally never gave anything to my daughter when she was young unless she was absolutely miserable and just needed to be more comfortable. Hope he feels better soon!! Kelli
Guest guest
Kelli, I'm sort of that way too... She is concerned with 102.9.. and that he gets so fussy and I think they were both up most of the nite... I just would rather her give him something herbal.. and could only think of echinacea in his bottle...
