Guest guest
Madhumangala, Welcome to our group!... I appreciate the info... I can't remember who was asking last week... now my question is if it is NOT seborrheic dermatitis and indeed is Rosacea, how would you treat it....... since I am assuming the person that asked originally was asking about Rosacea. Alot of times what you think is rosacea is really seborrheic dermatitis, the symptoms are almost identical and it appears at the same places on the face that rosacea does, infact if you don't know, you really couldn't tell the difference, but seborrheic dermatitis is much more easier to clear up then rosacea once you know what it is and how to treat it. I am an aurevedic practitioner so I can tell you a remedy that we would use that will clear it up in about a week. Guest guest
First thing you would have to find out what it is that triggers the rosacea, everyone will be different. Keep a list of everything you do and eat until you have a breakout and then determine what triggered it and then avoid whatever that is, be if food, cosmetics, stress, ect... You will benefit from using a scrub twice daily (morning and night) made from crushed eucalyptus, coriander seeds, fennel seeds and fir needles, cucumber and goat milk soap, then apply a cream with either a base of cocoa butter or shea butter (which I prefer), aloe vera, lemon zest and vitamin B. In about a week it will clear up, but you have to do twice a day, every day, even when you don't have a break out. Keeping your skin properly cleaned and moisturized is essential. It really only flares up on my nose during really cold or hot weather, otherwise don't really have any other symptoms. Any advice would be helpful. I wonder if a castor oil pack would work for this, castor oil is such a awesome broad based healer. I just don't know?? I would think you would have to do the castor oil packs for 8 weeks to know if it works or not. The only bad thing about trying the castor oil packs is the fact that the oil is thick and may cause some acne in the area, may not it really depends on your skin type. Anyone Else? Guest guest
Some one I know had a problem with blood vessels breaking all over in her face so her face was always red. Not sure if that's the same thing. She "cured" it with nothing more than cayenne taken daily.
