I think some of them spray the veggies down with preservatives. We travel a lot and when we are on the road many times our best and healthiest option is Subway. My face is always puffy after eating there. Finally I asked one of the workers and they told me they use preservatives. I don't know if it's true or not but it would make sense they cut up everything so far in advance.

It's funny because I used to sometimes go to a particular salad bar at lunch but I would often feel quite ill afterwards. It's been over a year since I last went, but I was starving a couple of days ago and had no time to get anything else so I went back to this salad bar and again felt ill after eating it. What would the cause be? -Jo 3. Kelli,

Try taking some IC #1 before you eat out somewhere...maybe even a plant enzyme too

Yes, I know what you mean. It used to be quite enjoyable that a lot of our social activities were centered around food, but now it's a hassle and constant struggle not to get sick myself and offend others!

My husband and I used to truly enjoy the times we could go to a restaurant or Starbucks and just sit and talk while someone brought us food! We've found that there's really no substitute - no place we can get away from the house, sit down and just talk. We enjoy running in the park together, but can't really sync up our calendars while doing that! LOL!

I react more severely to the "healthy" things too! My dad has the worst diet in the world since my step-mom does most of the cooking. I can't eat anything down there! They think it is rude that I won't eat down there anymore but I get horribly sick EVERYTIME! Angela Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1.
