Herbal Remedies - Epstein Barr Virus

Hi again Susannah,

Well there is a wealth of information that exists on different alternative therapies. The medieval medicine is the death sentence, not the virus. I guess all this depends on how long before they hack, chop, and carve. How much time does she have? There is hyperbaric oxygen therapy, magnetic pulse therapies, zapper therapies. ozone and peroxide therapies. There are lots of alternatives to the current American Medieval Association form of medicine. Interesting part is all of them are just as good and usually much better than the typical allopathic approach, and easier on patient in the long run.

Ultimately this is going to depend on the parents and their choice that they will make for your sister-in-laws niece.

Herbal Remedies - Epstein Barr Virus

Thanks to everyone who is helping me with my stomach problem. Since you were all so knowledgeable, I was wondering if I could pick your brains for another problem(not mine). My sister-n-laws niece was born with biliary atresia, which caused her liver to stop functioning. She was put on a transplant list, and when she was three years old, she got a liver transplant. She is now five, and has fought hard most of her life just to live. She has been very sick lately. The doctors found the Epstein Barr virus in her system. For normal people, Chronic Fatigue may have been the result. But for her, they are getting her ready to take out her tonsils, appendix, and her spleen (medieval medicine if you ask me), in order to keep the virus from storing up in those areas. They then are going to take her off of her anti-rejection drugs,(throwing her into rejection), to give her the antibiotics she needs that MIGHT help her. I thought you might have some ideas to help build up her immune system, because, basically, Epstein Barr is a death sentence for this little girl, and nothing could hurt. Hi again Don:

We never know when they schedule her for something until a couple days before they do it. It is incredible...it is like they have an opening and slip her in. As for the amount of time she has and whether the virus has reached her lymphatic system or not, we just do not know. They said if it reaches her lymphatic system there is nothing more to do, that she is going to die from it . I do know that she has been throwing up blood in the last few weeks and fell sick again a couple of months ago, and they did not know what was wrong. They thought she was going into rejection, but it turns out she has the Epstein Barr virus. Her parents were told that that the virus kills a lot of their transplant patients. My sister-n-laws mother works for the hospital, and is keeping tabs on her. I figure this: they are either going to take out her organs and wait and see if the virus reaches her lymph system, or they are going to send her

home to die. I think the best approach would be some things we can tell the family that might help, but that aren't overwhelming at first, and then build from there.

I think that the best thing for the little girl is to be sent home without the medical intervention. Then something can be done to save her life. While she is in the hospital it will be most difficult. Then her parents need to consider how they wish to handle this situation. I would say that if they are willing to try alternative therapies then they need to get to work and find out what is available as well as sign up on this list so that they can then confer with Doc.

My two cents anyway.

It might be too late to worry about overwhelming the parents. I pretty much figure they are overwhelmed enough and really only have two choices, ultimately.

With everything that is going on with your niece, you would need to talk to Doc directly. Taking out her organs should not be an option. She needs her spleen especially. Antibiotics will only make things worse. There are natural means to helping her. Hang in there.
