Guest guest
For anyone who is interested. Using the recipe posted a few days ago, (I can't remember who posted it though, sorry and thank you as I had never heard of kefir and had only ever made yoghurt from a packet.) I made both the yoghurt and the kefir using Almond Milk. Both of these had good results, with excellent nutty flavour. One batch of Almond milk had more water blended with it, this one did not firm up quite as much but was still 'creamy yoghurt'.I started with the cultures from 'Organic natural yoghurt' (half yoghurt/half Almond milk) (from a packet made by 'Easi-Yo). This is the system I was using to make my dairy yoghurt before drastically reducing my dairy intake. I was able to also make a second batch from the first with good results too. (half yoghurt/almond/half Almond Milk). I assume that it will continue to have good results. And eventually it will be completely dairy free.
