They used the powdered goats milk, for the lack of fresh, and it worked just fine, no colic or any problems from it. It would depend on the persons personal preference as to raw or pasturized, and maybe the age of the baby, but if the handler uses clean sterile equipment then there shouldn't be any probems with raw, and it will be better for the baby. We use raw goats milk for all our dairy needs, my youngest has been drinking it for some time, she will be three soon. Jacqui n goat milk be used for a colicky baby whose Mother can't nurse because of the chronic pain (old skating injury) meds she has to take? If not, what would you suggest?
