Is it genital herpes? For Herpes type 2 (which is on the moouth), lemon balm is the best. If you have a tea bag you can put it there, else mix lemon balm eo with some carrier oil, or a tea wash Erin Tony Montana: Me, I want what's coming to me. Manny: Oh, well what's coming to you? Tony Montana: The world, Chico, and everything in it.

Guest guest
This brings up another... cayenne... cayenne is good for shingles... so if this is somehow related...and even it's not... you might consider adding total tonic to your every day regime... Suzilepwomandude <lepwomandude wrote: AS far as i know it is NOT genital herpes. It is just a fever blister that appears on the upper part of the butt cheek. She has gone to an MD and had this confirmed. She had a small bout with shingles many years ago and the sore looks identical to shingles, but never gets any bigger than a quarter. I will pass all the info on, thanks much. T. Hotjobs: Enter the "Signing Bonus" Sweepstakes
Guest guest
the only thing i use on fever blisters is fresh aloe vera jell right from the leaf and leave it on as long as i can. if you catch a blister just at the first sing when the litesting occurs, just before it pops up, you can prick it and place the aloe leaf jell side next to it and it will never even come up. in fact i haven't had one for a geat long time. when i am in a position that my feet get really cold, i am more likely to have one come up. hope you try this as it is so simple that few people will believe me. love, granny lee .. >
Guest guest
Tessa, I know there are references in the message archives... also, you might try lysine, or the anti fungul formula in the files... Here are 2 from the member contribution files...Cold Sore Balm: Lip balm: 1 oz Beeswax 2 T. Sweet Almond Oil 10 Drops Jojoba Oil 5 Drops Carrot Oil 1-250 IU capsule Vitamin E oil Synergistic blend for cold sores: 8 drops Geranium 3 Drops Lemon 6 Drops Chamomile, German 8 Drops Tea Tree 5 Drops Lavender Add to the lip balm base and dab on 3 times a day. Are you eating more salt, sugar or acidity type foods lately or when this happens? That sometimes will cause them to occur... SuziTessa <puppycat wrote: Ok, anyone with thoughts feel free. I've been putting tea tree oil on it at night which seemsto make a sig difference from the last one, but are there any other thoughts orideas on the subject. I get one or two a year and of course it usually happensat most inconvenient times, such as the day before making a televisionappearance, just local cable grin.
