Guest guest
Hi Linda, Below I have copy/pasted 2 recipes in which coriander is used in a pesto, also called the 'poor man's chelation'. The first one I make regularly, always make enough for at least 3 weeks. After making it I keep enough handy to last me for 3-4 days, the rest goes into the freezer in small portions. The 2nd variety I have made a few times but I prefer to use olive oil instead of the flaxseed oil. Comes down to personal taste I guess when you make a coice which oil to use. Enjoy!! Hanneke ----------------------------- Cilantro Pesto 1 clove garlic1/2 cup almonds or other nuts1 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves2 TBLS. Lemon juice6 TBLS. Olive oil Put the cilantro and olive oil in blender and blend until cilantro is chopped. Add the rest of the ingredients and process to a lumpy paste. (You may need to add a touch of hot water and scrape the sides of the blender.) You can change the consistency by altering the amount of olive oil and lemon juice, but keep the 3:1 ratio of the oil and lemon juice. This freezes well if you want to make several batches. ------------------------------- DELICIOUS RECIPE TO REMOVE HEAVY METALSHeavy metal poisoning is rampant. It is a major causeof hormonal imbalances, cancer, thyroid problems, neurological disturbances, learning problems, depression, food allergies, parasites, etc. etc. This isa great recipe that is not only easy to make but alsoreally yummy! It is truly a healing food. One friendsuffering from high blood pressure due to mercurypoisoning had her blood pressure return to normal aftereating two teaspoons of this pesto daily for only aweek. So whether you need to detoxify heavy metals fromyour body or just wish to use it as a preventativemeasure, 2 teaspoons a day is all you need to take. Thispesto has now become a regular in my diet. Enjoy!CORIANDER CHELATION PESTO4 cloves garlic1/3 cup Brazil nuts (selenium)1/3 cup sunflower seeds (cysteine)1/3 cup pumpkin seeds (zinc, magnesium)2 cups packed fresh coriander (cilantro, Chineseparsley) (vitamin A)2/3 cup flaxseed oil4 tablespoons lemon juice (vitamin C)2 tsp dulse powderSea salt to tasteProcess the coriander and flaxseed oil in a blenderuntil the coriander is chopped. Add the garlic, nuts andseeds, dulse and lemon juice and mix until the mixtureis finely blended into a paste. Add a pinch to sea saltto taste and blend again. Store in dark glass jars ifpossible. It freezes well, so purchase coriander inseason and fill enough jars to last through the year.Coriander has been proven to chelate toxic metals fromour bodies in a relatively short period of time.Combined with the benefits of the other ingredients, this recipe is a powerful tissue cleanser. Two teaspoonsof this pesto daily for three weeks is purportedlyenough to increase the urinary excretion of mercury, lead and aluminum, thus effectively removing these toxicmetals from our bodies. We can consider doing thiscleanse for three weeks at least once a year. The pestois delicious on toast, baked potatoes, and pasta.
