Guest guest
I am so MAD. I'm told that the TT will interfere with the following meds of a patient that had a stroke 1 1/2 years ago and is now in LTC and the flu is rampant. She hasn't gotten the flu YET but the doctor said she can't have the TT. How can that be???????? I've been giving it to her in tomato juice and she loves it. The meds are: furosemide (BP), docusate, when needed(constipation), lopressor (heart and BP), coumadin (blood thinner), and diovan (BP). Antibiotics for kidney infections which had happened a few times. TT would prevent those, dang it. I know there's no sane answer for this but just needed to rant!!! If there is some data that I can give to this STUPID doctor, I'd surely appreciate the help. Now, I'm not looking to get her healthy, that's just not going to happen and it would be a blessing if she went home to her Lord but if she does get the flu, it probably won't kill her, she'll just be miserable and I'd really like to avoid that for her. Is this a classic example of 'kill 'em slow' or what?!?! Anna, who will be taking EXTRA TT for the rage she's allowed herself temporarily...
