Guest guest
Yeah, lemon egg--and spirulina! Little alkaline algae, available in flake form. Get it at health food store & sprinkle it on your food. Use lots It's said to have 26 times the calcium of milk. Keep it in the fridge and it, too, will last forever, without a colossal loss of nutrients. It's jam-packed full of good stuff and can help heal practically everything Love to all, --JL herbal remedies , Suzanne <suziesgoats> wrote: > LEMON EGG > > > but, does anyone know another good source of calcium? You could try supplementing with some sort of protein mixture that ahs calcium...make a shake or some sort of smoothie, but then again, we are right back to " what is REALLY in it " ??? I would love any and all info! Love... > Blaze > > > > > > > Find out what made the Top Searches of 2003
Guest guest
Aaww, yes, lemon egg. I haven't done that yet. Been waiting for the outcome of using the egg shells only to make it, rather then using the whole egg. This was a discussion between Don and Doc a few months ago. While on the subject of milk, what do y'all use for formula for a Mother who couldn't nurse 'cause of her pain meds? The medicos have the baby on a cow's milk formula and the baby does not like it having colic at night. They say goat's milk doesn't have the needed vitamins and they don't recommend soy either. My opinion on soy is to stay away from it 'til ALL the studies are in. And my prediction is that the studies will show it is not good even if you grow your own soy and make it yourself. It's too much soy. Eating the bean in soup or as a vege serving is about all we should be eating of this food. Guest guest
I'm sorry I'm probably no help here but this's my typical kneejerk thought: if I were the mother, I'd be trying as hard as I could to get off the pain meds first! And then nursing my own baby. But that's a general start; of course, there might be a whole host of reasons as to why this would be difficult to do. About soy, I think it'd be pretty difficult to determine how many studies are sufficient. So many are being done, and funded by different entities, and it's difficult to sort it all out. Hell, studies are still being done on echinacea, and we all know that it can work very well. So, well, who knows? Till then I think it's anyone's guess, and we'll just have to do what we think is safe and right for us Just my thoughts --Jen herbal remedies , " DrCrandall " <drcrandall@e...> wrote: > > Aaww, yes, lemon egg.
