Guest guest
I have been lurking for quite some time... a few months actually. Today, I felt inspired to take a closer look at the posts and I even answered a few. I have been studying herbalism for the past ten years or so... even longer if you count the lessons I learned from my grandmother. A year ago, I finally enrolled in a distance education program (Australasian) to become an " official " herbalist. I am glad I did, because through the program I've learned about plants I maybe would have overlooked. It is my hope that I will both learn from this list, and help aid in other's learning. I am aware that for every plant I learn about, there are hundreds out there that I don't have a clue.
Guest guest
Welcome! I haven't been around this list that long myself. It is nice to see confirmation and learn about other methods. I don't think any one person can know all the plant contributions that are out there, but we are led to the ones that we need. And this is why I find this list so helpful. Those of us who come from different " schools " of herbal education (family tradition, self taught, or formal) can share and learn from one another here. Welcome again. - dolly herbal remedies , " k_huether77 " <k_huether77> wrote: > I have been lurking for quite some time... a few months actually. > Today, I felt inspired to take a closer look at the posts and I even > answered a few. Guest guest
Hi & welcome to the board! Sounds like you've come to the right place. You've been studying herbs for ten years?? That's awesome I'm always interested to see what ppl have to say, because everyone brings something different to the table, if ya know what I mean. I'm interested in the " official herbalist " correspondence school you speak of, since I'm currently exploring my options for doing the same thing. Would you mind telling me more? You can email me off list if you want, too, doesn't matter. Much appreciated Also, do you have any favorite books that you consult or that changed your life or anything? Again, welcome, we're glad you're here!
