Guest guest
I think it is high blood sugar ? that will cause dizziness/light headedness as well. When my carb intake is high I would get this every time I got up from a sitting/lying position. Could that be it? Pam _______________ Tired of slow downloads? Guest guest
Ginger root tea or veggie caps work well, but she needs to deal with the cause of the dizzy spells. Janet - DrCrandall 'HerbalRemedies' Thursday, January 01, 2004 4:10 PM [herbal remedies] Herb for stress related dizziness What would you folks recommend for dizziness? I have afriend who gets dizzy to the point of vomiting and having tostay in bed. It happens when she's under stress dealingwith sick parents. She is going to start a bowel cleanse soshe's on the right track. But in the meantime if there'ssomething that could take the edge off, she would be mostgrateful. Thanks so much,Anna Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Guest guest
just wondering... stress can certainly cause some of the symtoms noted in the post.. but there are many kinds of dizziness. one of my coworkers' mother was experiencing dizziness to the point that she would be sitting on the bar stool at her breakfast bar and just topple off and when she walked down the hall, she would get so dizzy that the walls would seem to be going ever which way. at times she didn't know up from down. come to find out it was an inner ear problem. as you probably know, the inner ear seems to control our balance.. just a thoughtlove.. granny lee - Janet Seidlitz herbal remedies Saturday, January 03, 2004 3:55 AM Re: [herbal remedies] Herb for stress related dizziness Ginger root tea or veggie caps work well, but she needs to deal with the cause of the dizzy spells. Guest guest
Granny Lee, what you are describing here is vertigo and not dizziness. The difference goes like this.. if you are dizzy.. you are moving and balancing.. if it is vertigo.. the room is moving/spinning around. And vertigo is almost always an inner ear problem. Dizziness can be cause by a problem with your blood pressure and a lot of other problems. I am no expert but I have both, and believe me the feeling is not the same. :-)))) Brigitte leo [leo] January 3, 2004 8:48 AMherbal remedies Subject: Re: [herbal remedies] Herb for stress related dizziness just wondering... stress can certainly cause some of the symtoms noted in the post.. but there are many kinds of dizziness. one of my coworkers' mother was experiencing dizziness to the point that she would be sitting on the bar stool at her breakfast bar and just topple off and when she walked down the hall, she would get so dizzy that the walls would seem to be going ever which way. at times she didn't know up from down. come to find out it was an inner ear problem. as you probably know, the inner ear seems to control our balance.. just a thoughtlove.. granny lee - Janet Seidlitz herbal remedies Saturday, January 03, 2004 3:55 AM Re: [herbal remedies] Herb for stress related dizziness Ginger root tea or veggie caps work well, but she needs to deal with the cause of the dizzy spells. Guest guest
It does. I have that problem as well, just on a constant basis. You would be surprised at how large a part our inner ear plays in everything we do. I think it's fancy name is Vestibular Apraxia, but all that means is that "Inner ear does not work right". -Shelby leo [leo]Saturday, January 03, 2004 5:48 AMherbal remedies Subject: Re: [herbal remedies] Herb for stress related dizziness just wondering... stress can certainly cause some of the symtoms noted in the post.. but there are many kinds of dizziness. one of my coworkers' mother was experiencing dizziness to the point that she would be sitting on the bar stool at her breakfast bar and just topple off and when she walked down the hall, she would get so dizzy that the walls would seem to be going ever which way. at times she didn't know up from down. come to find out it was an inner ear problem. as you probably know, the inner ear seems to control our balance.. just a thoughtlove.. granny lee -
