What would you folks recommend for dizziness? I have a

friend who gets dizzy to the point of vomiting and having to

stay in bed. It happens when she's under stress dealing

with sick parents. She is going to start a bowel cleanse so

she's on the right track. But in the meantime if there's

something that could take the edge off, she would be most

grateful.

I have never heard of stress from dizziness. Poor thing :( I have heard of vomiting from migraines but not dizzinesss. Is the nausea and vomit for the stress affecting her stomach as well or the dizziness directly? Bowel cleanse is an excellent idea.

For upset stomach Ginger root tincture or tea, or even better home brewed honey. Also can grind it up and pill.

For anxiety I love skullcap and catnip.

For dizziness I would recommend experimenting with cayenne and also gingko biloba, very small amts at first

You can get so tense it constricts blood flow to the brain? Besides diziness can it also cause disorientation and headaches? Thanks

Start her on the intestinal cleanse in the file and go thru the total cleanse program..

Cayenne is good for fainting... and would be a good one for her. Total nutrition and total tonic would be two more I would take if it were me.

Thanks, Suzi. I forgot to mention that she's taking the TT. I will definitely get her started on the TN, too. I'm hoping she'll be able to stay with the bowel cleanse. Will suggest the cayenne to her, also. She's Italian so loves all this hot stuff LOL

Well, she's noticed that when she gets upset with her

parents, the dizziness starts and then she gets nauseous and

vomits. I will tell her about the herbs for anxiety, that's

an excellent suggestion. Her upset with her parents is

because her dad has cancer and would be willing to do the

non-toxic cures but her Mother won't let him. She's able to

detach from it most of the time but sometimes the

frustration takes over.

Thanks, Dolly. I don't know about anybody else on the list but the posts are always out of order. It doesn't make any difference how I read them. Many times I am reading the reply before I see the initial post. It didn't used to be like this on lists. Now it's this way on all the lists to which I . This started about the time Patriot 11 was signed. mMMmmMM....

I will definitely keep you posted as she's willing to try

anything. She does get neck pain too. Needless to say since

she's a friend, she's also a patient but you've given me an

idea....I should suggest muscle therapy too. Thanks for the

suggestions.

Weeelll, it's when she stands up to her Mother that she ends

up in bed. You know the saying: " the man is the head of

the house but the woman is the neck that turns it " . I heard

that in the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I recently

watched it reluctantly and loved it!! I have suggested the

Essiac but don't think she's done it.

i think so. when we made the move from the lake to here, every time we had to do something that required leaving our new home, Ivan (elderly) would start getting queezy, dizzy, weak, turn green, cold sweat, stomach in a knot, and on the verge of nausea. i had a good heart to heart talk with him to alleviate his fears (i think he was worried he was going to be put in a nursing home) and he hasn't had such a problem since. we are sure they were anxiety attacks. our emotions can really make us sick, litterally.

One Saturday, on the way to work after a freezing blizzard, my car slid down a ramp at no miles per hour. just slid down.. and i had to go through Kansas city in a totally icy condition, only one track of tires nearly all the way home for about 25 miles . The following monday i started to work again on heavy ice and my nerves across my ribs spasmed so badly it was like a steel band all the way around my torso til i couldn't breath without extreme pain. the muscles just locked. i managed to pull over to a resturaunt, got out and called Ivan and he came and got me and just left the car there. it can happen.

love.. granny

I know I used to be under a lot of stress and basically my neck would hurt daily. I dont believe there was anything wrong with my neck, I just seemed to hold stress in the neck and back and stomach, having those areas tighten without me knowing it. And of course this then contributed to headaches. Stress is rough on ya. Let us know what happens

Hi again Anna. Last night it came to me that I had heard of the

problems your friend is having through another colleague of mine some

years back. My colleague's client never drank water. Headaches,

dizziness, nausea, neck and back pains were all caused by dehydration

in her body. My colleague tried to give her client enemas but she

was so packed that it was not possible. She had to " introduce " her

client to water through ice chips, then water by teaspoons, etc by

mouth, until she could drink a glass without vomiting. Stress can

dehydrate you, in addition to depleting the body of nutrients. Does

your friend keep enough water in her diet?
