Guest guest
Hey all Little observation: I've switched to eating MANY more plants and FAR less meat. I've noticed something about stools. I know it's " too much info " but I know that stool is a good indicator of how well some body systems are functioning. That said, I've noticed that as my diet has changed, so has the smell and consistency of my stool. (I eat MANY more veggies, the only grains I eat are 100% whole, I've cut way back on wheat and instead I like brown rice cakes with sesame seeds and whole rolled oats as oatmeal. The salmon I do eat has TONS of herbs (no salt) including garlic, lemon pepper, cayenne, celery seed, etc.) The odor is stronger, though, and a bit more, well, " plant-y " ? lol. Detox? Or something other? While getting gross personal stuff out of the way, I also thought I'd ask this question: I switched deodrants about a 4-6 weeks or so ago, (I became aware of the aluminum content and I want to avoid it), to a prop-glycol-free herbal formula instead. (It's a reputable natural company as far as I know. Whole Foods Market carries it.) My body's odor has changed also, and has gotten a bit stronger. Is THIS a detox of sorts too? Thanks for bearing with me Just looking for answers to a couple strange questions. Peace & light, --Jen
Guest guest
Now that's funny!!!!!!!! <<<< And thank you for stirring mine ROTFLOL. I can remember coming home from one rollicking adventure off of the seven seas at the age of twenty two, and walking into the house with rippling muscles and a golden tan to peer down from my 6'1" frame at my 5'2" mother to have the first question out of her mouth being, "How are your bowels dear???" ROTFLMAO I think all mothers have an inate sense of how to put things into their proper perspective. ;o) Love, Doc >>>>
Guest guest
Hi Jen, You will notice, as your body cleanses itself from all the toxins etc, that have collected over the years, that your body odor will change. It might get worse for a while but eventually it will get to be very nice indeed. As for deodorants, I only use raw apple cider vinegar after I shower. No, my body still has a long way to go in getting out all the mucus and toxins I have put in over the years. But the smell factor has seriously decreased in the last two years or so. Just keep plugging away at the dietary changes, removing the toxic chemicals (dish soap, laundry soap, etc.), and going as totally natural, raw and organic as I can and I am getting closer to my goal of a purified body as I can possibly have. Guest guest
My wife has always been very aware of stool consistency. I used to think it rather, well, wierd. Now, I am always telling Travis, "don't flush till I look at it". A lot can be learned about how the body is doing by looking at the stool.
