Guest guest
Well, I think 'swan neck' refers to the length not the misalignments of the vertebra like the 'military neck'. You might have 8 cervical (neck) bones instead of the usual 7. As to exercises, depends on what problem you're having. I encourage people to put their necks through the normal range of motion movements, holding for about 10 seconds in each position, just to maintain flexibility. Guest guest
Mine is slanted forward I think because of being too heavy in the umm chest area. I tend to get stiff along the left side where the upper back meets the neck. Throughout the day lift your anterior rib cage, this will put your neck and midback into better alignment. Also, instead of crossing your arms across your chest (if you do) when you're standing, put them behind you (a patient suggested this and I think it's brilliant). This gives you a nice stretch across your chest area and the upper arms, too. You might get checked by a Chiropractor. I have a number of women with mid back pain from large breasts and the adjustments do give some relief. Anna
