Hello Everyone!

I really appreciate that you are here!

Your advise and support are immeasurable.

I need some help again.

Neighbor child is covered with bites insect bites I think.

The mother says the house is infested with fleas. The house has been

professionally exterminated and bombed with over the counter stuff.

There are three children 7 11 and 15 and only the 7 year old has the bites.

they don't look like flea bites to me. They are festering and scabby almost like

chicken pox and they are all over this child's body. legs thighs consentrated at

the waistline back and front. Have not seen genital areas but she says they

are on her upper thighs as well. none on the face. What else could it be?

Somewhere in the back of my mind I keep hearing staff infection. but does that

reoccur as bite sized " lesions "

frustrating me is that the mother is doing nothing alternative to get rid of the

fleas...if it is that. I don't see any on me when I am there. and I don't see

how

she is getting biten under her clothing. She says she doesn't sleep in the

nude. I have been in a flea invested environment before and my child was

biten up pretty bad but they bites didn't fester. Maybe because I treated her

with natural salves etc. and maybe the mother isn't healing this child??????

I'm going to investigate further tomorrow. I saw her at the park and can't get

the site of her belly out of my mind.

let me know what you think thanks again -mercy

Not knowing what is causing this - the best I can suggest is to take total tonic and use externally on the bites and also take internally. Then use the herbal first aid salve or something similar . But the source of this needs to be found and resolved... this could almost be under the lines of child neglect if it is as bad as you say.

i wonder if the child has been playing in grass if it could be chiggar bites? they can be terrible and if they get infected really bad. if so, they need to treated like any other infection, and a bit of agri sulphur powdered on the feet and legs and trousers to keep the chiggars off. i used to drift a bit of suphur over my lawn to keep them and ticks out.

Hi,

Thanks for the input.

I saw her today and she looks better.

She asked " Do fleas like dirt? "

I said " They can live in the grass. "

She said " well, cause I didn't take a bath for a long long time and

so last night I did " I asked if she had any salve? Was her mom

helping her with the itch? She said she hasn't asked her mom

for any. I told her about keeping her nails clean too and she ran off to wash

her hands.

My guess is that it started with fleas bites and has turned into a staff/staph

infection. I'm off to speak with the mother about letting me help.

Don't know how to get a confirmation on it being a staph infection

anything I've found on the net says use collodial silver, any experience out

there? I'll start with TT. total tonic and TT tea tree to spray her bedding.

She need some soothing/itch relieving baths too.

Thanks for the help.

I'll keep you posted.

The TT will also keep the fleas off her - they hate garlic hehe. Put some baking soda into her bath. It will sooth the itchies.
