Guest guest
Dear Rob, Grow - Garlic, Cayenne, Onions, Echinacea, "Ephedra";o), Horseradish, and plant a few fruit trees that are good for your area. Hard to go wrong with that as your mainstay. Plant a few other herbs like Rosemary as well if you can. You are certainly right about the "education" factor being important and a focal point. Then again, that's what this list is all about. Isn't it? I hope everyone has a great holiday (whichever you celebrate) and a very Happy New Year. I am going to grow some herbs in my garden, beginning this spring. I would like some advice or input from the group on what herbs I should/could grow. I live in the Northeast about 2 miles from the coast. What have others had experiences with? What are some good all-natural gardeing techniques? Where is a good place to get top-quality seeds? Any information would be appreciated. Also my 2-cents on the Ephedra thread. It frustrates me that the government gets involved to such a large degree. What needs to happen is for people to get educated and for the companies that are marketing ephedra for weight-loss and fat burning to educate their consumers. People die from alcohol posioning, drunk driving, etc.. every year, but nothing is done about that. Education is the key. My thought process goes like this. I get mad. Then I think that the good I can do is to continue down my path and try to educate people that seek my help or that I come in contact with. We speak the truth here and with the help of the internet our message will get out. I think the best thing we can do is educate oursleves and then help others educate themselves. It will not have an immediate effect but it will work. I have helped a few people here and there contain some health problems like asthma, bronchitis, and other things. Now people are trickling in asking for help with other things. I educate them as much as I can and let them take it from there. I have learned not to push too hard, but to subtle educate. People will only take it as far as they want to regardless of how hard I push. I hope everyone has a great day!!! Rob
