Seasonal fruit, like:1/2 ripe melon, peeled and seeded1/2 ripe pineapple, peeled and cored3 kiwis, peeled1 small bunch of seedless grapes1/3 cup guava paste*2 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juiceskewers or toothpicks » Cut fruit into bite-size pieces. » In a blender, puree the guava paste and lime juice into a smooth, thick dressing. Pour the dressing into the bowl and toss with the fruit. » Skewer fruits on bamboo skewers or fancy toothpicks. Serve immediately or cover well and refrigerate until serving time. The fruit can be arranged on the skewers up to 3 hours before serving.* Find guava paste in Latin and Asian groceries or sometimes restaurants, and in the ethnic section of well-stocked supermarkets. From Moosewood Restaurant: New Classics Photos - Get your photo on the big screen in Times Square
