Guest guest
Hi guys, A friend of mine is suffering from her arthritis, which is flaring up quite a bit. I wanted to suggest to her Devil's Claw, and the homeopathic Arnica, but then she told me she also has High Blood Pressure. Can anyone tell me if these two remedies could be used with HBP? Or have any other advice/remedies to suggest? She's not really into natural remedies, but is open to suggestions - whether she'll take the advice I don't know. thanks love Lisa Outgoing mail is certified virus free.Checked by NAV anti-virus system (http://www.symantec.com)Version 8.07.17c.Virus definitions updated daily/weekly. Guest guest
Hi lisa, in regards to arthritis I can tell you that I have found relief in megadoses of vitamins, especially vitamin C crystals (powdered rose hips) mixed 1:1 with baking soda (no I don't have high blood pressure). start with 1/2 teaspoon of each and increase until B.M. becomes loose and back off dosage enough to prevent loose bowels. along with this I also use an herb called T.T.L. (Tribulus Terrestris L.)500 mg per 88 lbs daily. My pain level went from an excruciating 9 to at times a ZERO and at other times a 2. In regards to the high blood pressure. Exercise and proper nutritional balance is required to bring this under control. Again megadoses of vitamins and minerals is probably where I would start along with a liver cleanse. How old is your friend? male or female? medications? etc. all play an important part. In regards to devils claw, I know nothing... regards, ken herbal remedies , " Lisa Belcher " <lisabelcher@t...> wrote: > Hi guys, > > A friend of mine is suffering from her arthritis, which is flaring up quite a bit. > > I wanted to suggest to her Devil's Claw, and the homeopathic Arnica, but then she told me she also has High Blood Pressure. > > Can anyone tell me if these two remedies could be used with HBP? Guest guest
Hi Lisa, There are no problems with any of these with high blood pressure. Cayenne, ginger, garlic, total tonic, PP, Lemon Egg. If she is unwilling to use TT see if she will eat garlic or ginger. This will help with blood pressure or the cayenne. Of course Hawthorne is good for circulation as is getting the kidneys working properly. I suspect, from your description, that her kidneys may not be functioning to well. Kidneys have a tremendous amount of effect on our blood pressure. They control water and salts. Is she using a lot of salt? Or salt in preprocessed foods? I am just throwing these questions out here just in case she wishes to know more or go deeper into alternative health. I would also suspect congested bowels, liver and gall bladder too. Well, I am rambling here. You don't know much at this point in time but hopefully you have some food for thought that you can work with if you get a chance to chat with her. ;-) Peace and light, Don Quai PS -- I hope that you and Jamie have a wonderful Christmas this year and the best year ever next year. - Lisa Belcher herbal remedies Tuesday, December 23, 2003 8:21 PM Re: [herbal remedies] Re: arthiritis Thanks Suzi! Guest guest
Well, give her a new alcohol... A TINCTURE... LOL. Seriously, she definitely needs to cut the alcohol out and get the diet in order or the high blood pressure will kill her... maybe a glass of wine once in awhile if she has to. Start pushing the garlic cloves and cayenne tincture. And lots of fruits and veges.... Heck, give her a bloody mary with OUT the alcohol. SuziRiki <heartlight wrote: It is not very good and she drinks a lot of alcohol. Which, in my observation, I think she does because she has such bad untreated anxiety - probably lending to the high blood pressure, hmm? :-( Riki ---- herbal remedies 12/23/03 19:50:33 herbal remedies Re: [herbal remedies] Re: arthiritis Riki, What is your friends diet like... this plays an important part in high blood pressure. Guest guest
Riki, As long as your friend continues to drink and eat all the wrong foods at the wrong times and combined in the wrong way she will continue to have high blood pressure and anxiety. The reason she has HBP and anxiety is because her body is trying to tell her that she is poisoning it and slowly killing herself. She needs to quit the alcohol and drastically change her diet, but she has to want to do it, otherwise it will never fly. It must be her decision. Yes the garlic, ginger and cayenne will help with high blood pressure but will be offset to some extent by her continual abuse of alcohol. Would be better to get her drinking ozonated water and breathing ozonated air. That will help to eliminate the free radicals caused by the alcohol and hopefully, bring about healing of the damage done. I doubt if her kidneys are functioning properly. This is a major cause of HBP. In a nut shell, she needs to get away from the alcohol long enough to oxygenate her body, change her diet and begin cleansing out the toxins and poisons. Only then will she begin to heal. Don Quai - Riki herbal remedies Wednesday, December 24, 2003 3:23 AM Re: [herbal remedies] Re: arthiritis ---Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
