Guest guest
<<<<BTW.. i soaked some flax seed last night and the water turned to a slippery sliddie mucousy mess! it would take a week for this to dry enough to be ground>>>> Hey, granny lee, Following is some info on how to sprout flax. Soaking is not an option J The rest of the instructions are at sproutpeople.com. I think I’ll try growing some on muslin. Anna Sprouting Instructions Yields approximately as many micro-greens (by weight) as seed " planted " This is the most mucilaginous seed of them all. Do NOT soak it unless you are performing an experiment! Note: To learn what mucilaginous really means; take one Flax seed and put s drop or 2 of water on it. Wait for 5 minutes and try to pick the seed up =:-} Grow these on soil or Baby Blanket (soilless medium) in a Tray, on a Hemp Bag, a Miniature Garden or on virtually any moisture retaining medium (as minimal as paper towel or fabric - like cheesecloth) you can think of.
