Guest guest
Well if it's fungal the garlic juice will not make it worse. It's also an anti-fungal do-hicky. supervixen08 [supervixen08] Friday, December 05, 2003 8:24 AM herbal remedies [herbal remedies] possible Fungal ear infection? I've had periodic itching and occasional medium-to-semi-dark drainage (not much, like not onto my pillow or anything) from my right ear. It has ebbed and flowed for roughly 2.5-3 (?) yrs. I also have some hearing loss, esp in the higher frequencies. If someone isn't facing me, I can't often hear them. As a quick by-the-way at the tail end of a visit one day, I had my dentist/ND look into my ears to see why and he said I do have some kind of infection. Since it's been going on for quite some time he figured it wasn't viral, as my body would've fought it off by now. I'm not sure if we ruled out bacterial or not, but if it helps anyone, I have been very careful not to get water in my ears for about 9 yrs now. He said it might be fungal. I saw the " FLUID IN EARS " posts and I'm VERY interested to try out these remedies, as they seem fantastic, but I'm wondering if putting the liquid in would be safe, given that my infection might be fungal. (I mentioned this to my fairly pure-chiropractic chiropractor and he did mention sea silver, but that's hard to find in my area and I'm skittish about ordering it on the net until I'm more familiar with it and I know what I'm looking at and who to get it from.) Thank you very much in advance for ANY help (and hope!) )
