soy and the mind

I can only tell you of an experience I had Anna. When I first

decided to eat well, many years ago, everyone told me about soy and

tofu. At first I was okay doing the tofu thing. Then after a while

I got edgy and felt all irritable. Finally I asked my chiropractor

about it and he had me bring in a number of foods for testing using

applied kinesiology. Well I held that tofu in my hand and my muscles

ability to resist the opposing pressure was completely knocked out.

My doctor said I may not have started with a resistance to soy, but

my body surely didn't want any more now. He said the soy was probably

why my I was feeling so short tempered. Once I got off it and on to

rice milk I was okay (I started noticing a change after a week had

passed.)

Again, this might not have a thing to do with what your brother is

experiencing, it is just what happened to me on soy. By the way, can

you get him to eat raw or steamed veggies instead of canned? He may

be having an adverse reaction to a preservative.
