Guest guest
Hi Angel, First slow down. LOL Second you know plenty. So lets get started. We need to know what your diet is like. Do you eat meat? Junk food? Fast food? Prepackaged and processed food? Dairy? Pastas? Breads? Do you drink alcohol? Coffee? Teas? Sodas? Do you eat fresh fruits? Vegetables? What kind of water do you drink? Tap? Filtered? Distilled? Do you exercise regularly? What is your age? Do you smoke? Use street drugs? What other medications are you taking? Can you describe your pain in more detail or be more specific about how it feels? Is it a dull pain or a sharp pain when you take in a breath? Does it feel like something is tearing? Stabbing pain? Shooting pain? What? What are you wishing to tincture? I will be more than happy to assist you in this. Guest guest
Hi Angel You try this. I found it very helpful. I'm not a smoker so I can't vouch for that part of it though. Lung/ Lymphatic Cleanse This ancient Medicine Man Tea is essential in helping the body to release toxins from lungs and lymph glands. It is also useful in helping the body to release tar and nicotine from lungs when attempting to stop smoking. 2 tsp. Fennel Seeds, 2 tsp. Fenugreek seeds, 2 tsp. Skullcap Use bulk tea, no tea bags. Boil 2 litres of water, remove from heat, put herbs in and let steep 20-30 minutes and strain. Drink ho or cold (you can sweeten with honey). Drink ½ litre daily for a month, stop for 2 weeks then drink for another month. Use after colds or congestion. Please drink plenty of water when using this tea. Alternative lung cleanse 2 tsp. mullein, 2 tsp. skullcap into 1 litre of water (sweeten with honey). I used the first one. It tastes fine. Carolyn .... I also have another problem with chest pain >and pain in my back sort of like where your lungs would be it gets >very painful sometimes adn i also have a hard time breathing >sometimes i went to my doc about it to get checked and he wont send _______________ E-mail just got a whole lot better. Guest guest
Ok Angel, All that pasta is gonna glue you up inside and then you are going to have some real problems down the road to deal with. Sorry but that is the truth of the matter. Unless of course, you make your own pasta from sprouted grains. Then you will be in better shape. Got to get off the sodas. They are just plain bad for anyone. Good that you got rid of the red meat. Gotta eat the chicken at least try to make it organic. Cut way down on your pasta intake and up your vegetables and fruits intake. Walking everyday is very good, not only for you but the young one as well. Others on this list will give you a lot of info on quitting the nicotine habit.. For the most part it sounds like you are heading in the right direction. Changing your diet to a more natural one and then doing the 3 day juice cleansing on top of it will go far in helping you to better health. Try the juice cleanse. It is perfectly safe to do and you can do it every month if you wish. You owe it to yourself and your daughter to be as healthy as possible. You need to do this so you can be an example for her too. Now as to this pain, I am not a doctor but it sounds like pleurisy to me. This is where your lung actually sticks to the inside of your rib cage and then it tears as it pulls away causing a sharp tearing pain that can be almost dibillitatiing. It will hurt like holy 'H' to breath or even move at times. When you take a deep breath you just know you ripped out all your innards. Does this kind of sound like your scenario? I used to have this problem and that is pretty much what I went through. Don't really know what changed it but I haven't had this problem in years. Maybe the diet change, quitting smoking, quitting alcohol, who knows. For your tinctures, get yourself some 100 proof vodka or Everclear, place whichever herb you wish to tincture into a blender, add the booze till it covers the herb by about an inch and blend. Then store in a sealed jar out of sunlight. You will want to shake it about twice a day. If you do this make it on the new moon and press it on the full moon. You will have an awesome tincture. Now if you don't want to use alcohol you can use organic apple cider vinegar. It will work but not as well as alcohol would. Let me know if you have any more questions that I can help you with. Guest guest
herbal remedies , angel <dezya2k1> wrote: > Thanks for your help don..i really appreciate it as well as the others who have helped!! so i guess on to my next question to anyone that can answer...is there something that can help with quitting smokeing..i know that i just have to go cold turkey and just stop but any advice is welcome!! Thank-you in advance! Here are suggestions given by members over the years to help quit smoking from our message archives: Whenever you feel like smoking up, just take a dropperful of Lobelia tincture and the craving will go away. the one herb I'd recommend would be Lobelia (which is tremendous for all lung conditions), and this would be one of those herbs that his job would probably be somewhat, to some degree, effect his activity. Lobelia relaxes you, and this could be somewhat of a concern. It is the herb that would help with his lungs though. Lobelia did help me a lot, as well as passion flower, oats, american ginseng and angelica. Total Tonic!!! helps the lungs also. suggest the liver and gallbladder cleanse and the blood detox. Detoxifying ones liver and cleansing the blood will help reduce craving by flushing out the built up nicotine and other poisons associated with smoking. These can be found in the files Deep breathing! One of the things smokers lose when they quit is the constant deep breathing from smoking. It helps to get all the stagnant air out of your lungs either through exercise, meditation or yoga. There are some herbs that help. One is licorice root -- chewing on a little bit of it helps reduce the craving, and also helps clear junk out of the lungs. Lobelia has been a big help for some people -- drinking a cup of tea at a time when you would have ordinarily lit up can do wonders. But this should be done only once a day -- some people find that Lobelia makes them a little bit " high " . a couple friends who swear by coltsfoot. In fact, one friend started mixing coltsfoot in with her tobacco (she rolled her own) and just slowly increased the coltsfoot and decreased the tobacco. It took several months, but eventually she was smoking only coltsfoot and no tobacco, and could then manage to get rid of the physical habit of smoking something pretty easily since she wasn't addicted to the coltsfoot. I do know that coltsfoot, when smoked, is soothing to the lungs.
